Walk With Me
The Millennium Reign and Dispensationalism
What if understanding the millennial reign could change your entire perspective on biblical prophecy? Brace yourself for a transformative journey on this episode of "Walk With Me," where I, JJ, extend heartfelt thanks to our loyal listeners and shed light on some exciting technical advancements and future plans for our podcast. Listener questions are the heartbeat of our show, and we'll soon address fascinating themes of submission and subversion, ensuring no stone is left unturned. We then embark on an exploration of the millennial reign, a profound period following the Battle of Armageddon, dissecting its significance within dispensationalism and emphasizing the unity of God's rule through the lens of Zechariah 14:9.
Our discussion takes a prophetic turn as we connect the allegorical visions of Zechariah with the stirring events of Revelation, particularly focusing on the Battle of Armageddon and Christ's thousand-year reign. Key scriptures such as Zechariah 10:12 and 12:10 come alive, unveiling their connection to Revelation 20:1-6. We'll dig into the imprisonment and eventual release of Satan, his deception of nations, and the establishment of a one-world godly government. The episode underscores continuous worship in Jerusalem as prophesied by Zechariah and examines the repercussions for noncompliant nations. Finally, we revisit the ultimate defeat of Satan as detailed in Revelation 22:3, underlining the cyclical nature of prophecy and fulfillment. Join us for an enlightening episode that promises to enrich your understanding of these profound biblical themes.

Speaker 1:I will admit, today's episode was a little bit of a struggle for me and the reason why I like to interrupt our schedule program. I like to interrupt our schedule program. I'd like to interrupt the schedule program for questions, since we're so close to the end of the Bible at this 30,000 foot level that we've been doing. I just wanted to go ahead and get through with it. Yes, we will be answering those questions about submission and subversion. It, yes, we will be answering those questions about submission and subversion.
Speaker 1:Uh, there's so many questions that have come through in the last couple weeks when we were off air. I will get to them. I promise you I will get to them and they will be episodes like I. You know just the one word or two words, three line answers. I'll shoot those right back to you, but if they're long, you know sort of in-depth answers. Then they will be episodes, if you want your name to be used, in other words to say hey, this question, this episode, goes out to John, who sent me this question. Just put your name in the subject line and I'll be more than happy to go ahead and use your name. If not, just go ahead and leave the subject line blank. Because guess what, guys, if you have a question, chances are someone else has had the exact same question. So most things aren't new. Some questions are maybe worded uniquely or framed uniquely, but a lot of us have had the exact same questions that you are having right now.
Speaker 1:I've had a lot of questions that a lot of people who are asking me are having, and if I don't know, I'll just write you back. I have no idea. Let me study and pray about it. Let me get back to you. I am fully admitted not knowing everything about the Bible. Do know a little something, something, as they say. So if I didn't know the answer and it may take a little bit while, a little while to get it out to you, I'll get it out to you. So yes, guys, I'm still going to answer those questions. I'm going to have a couple of special episodes as we get along here, but thank you all so much for your questions. I really, really, really love the questions.
Speaker 1:All right, and we're going to jump right into today's episode. If you remember, last episode, we were talking about the end of the Battle of Armageddon and a lot of people including me, a lot of people believe that the Bible sort of ends there, sort of ends there, but there is still another period to come and this is what's called the thousand year reign, the millennial reign, and if there's nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing that sort of wraps up the idea of dispensationalism being about a thousand years, it's this right here. So we're going to talk about it, because there's certain characteristics of what's going to be known as the kingdom age that has really been kind of an undercurrent throughout the entire Bible and there's certain things that sort of allude to it throughout the entire Bible. But this is the way God speaks to us. He will tell us something that is pertinent now but then will really hit you later. Here's a good example.
Speaker 1:Oh, and we're going to be reading some scripture today. It's like we do it every episode because we want to make sure we stay Bible-based. However, there is a rule here on this podcast. The rule is I might only read one or two verses just for the sake of time. However, the rule is to when you go and you read these scriptures, read a verse or two above, a verse or two below, but preferably the whole chapter. Why is that? On this show, context is key. Context is key gets you out of a lot of false documents.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right, so let's, let's get started here. We're gonna start in the old testament, zechariah 14 and 9. Okay, and here's where God is saying this thing and it doesn't kind of make sense at that time, but we're going to tie it into what God was really saying to Zechariah, zechariah 14, 9. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth, and in that day there shall be one Lord and his name one. Now, there's so many things that he said about that verse, that verse, that one. There's one Lord, he only has one name. He's not going to be known as this to some people and that to some people. It's going to be one Lord and it's going to have one name. His name will be universal. Also, the Lord shall be king over the whole world.
Speaker 1:Now, up to this point, you don't really see any sort of or even after this, you don't really see a lot of References to Christ or to God being king, because kings were always on the worldly level. As a matter of fact, if you really think about it, the kings of Israel, the king of Israel, the children of Israel, kind of made God mad because they wanted a king just like the world we love. And God was upset at this because he was like I'm already here, what do you mean? And so this is what led Israel into a lot of problems because of these kings. You know, some kings were good, some kings were corrupt, and God knew that some men are good, some men are corrupt. So when they started clamoring for a king, god was sort of upset at this. So this is why this is why this is very important, and in that day there should be one Lord, his name one.
Speaker 1:But now, if Jesus Christ is going to be king of the earth, because Jesus is God's name, then when does this happen? Revelation 20 and 6. Because we know what happened the first time Jesus came to the planet. We know how that ended he was not king. And the weird thing, and one thing I always kind of love about how God works, is that in mocking him, they crowned him king. In crucifying him, they crowned him king, not even realizing that they were actually assisting a prophecy, revelation 26 blessed and holy is he that hath part of the first resurrection.
Speaker 1:Now let's stop there. That means that the rapture we call the rapture has already happened at no point in the last couple weeks. I'm sorry, not not the last couple episodes. We talked about a resurrection. Now, after we talk about the rapture, that means this rapture Thing has had to have happened Before the tribulation, right? Okay, let's keep it going On. Such the second death has no power. These people who have been Raptured will not die. There will not be a second death there. No power, which means these people who have been raptured Will not die. There will not be a second death. There will be no condemnation, there will be nothing to judge them on, because they've already been raptured To spend time in the Holy Spirit, but they shall be priests of God and the Christ and shall reign with him A thousand years. Now, what does this mean? Now With this mean? Now, with this? It's going to be a long Scripture setting. So I would suggest, when we get offline, we're going to read Matthew 25. 31 to 46.
Speaker 1:Okay, and this is where Jesus is practically talking about what's going to be occurring during this time. A lot of nations will be judged during this time and there's going to be a again. Jesus is using the term king here, and he uses the term king a lot, and he's going to be. There's going to be a lot of judgment. Hey, you know, when I was sick and I was hungry, you helped me when I was in prison. You know, you came to see me when I was lost, you talked to me, you saved me, and stuff like that. And then he's going to say the same thing, but in reverse the people on his left hand. He's going to say the same thing, but in reverse, the people on his left hand. He's going to say when I was sick, you didn't come, bother to come and see me. When I was poor, you didn't help me out when I was in prison, you didn't care about me. Depart from me to hell.
Speaker 1:And there's going to be and keep in mind now in that set of scriptures, keep in mind now in that set of scriptures, not only is he talking about the judgments of nations at that time and by that time I mean prior to the battle of Armageddon but now he's talking about it again as far as the great fight for judgment which we will talk about the moment and it's important to understand, and you will see a lot of tie-ins, especially on Zachariah. We're going to go back to Zachariah in a minute, just to make sure that we are on the same page and we don't get confused, because if we get confused we start making up doctrines to sort of fill in the gaps. Zechariah 9 and 11, god's people were ruined with Christ, so as we also. By the blood of thy covenant, I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein there is no water. Turn you to the stronghold, we prisoners of hope. Even today, I do declare that I will render double unto you, and I have been judah for me, but when I've been judah for me, filled the bow of ephraim, raised up thy sons of zion against thy sons of greece and made thee as the sword of the mighty man and as the lord has been seen over him and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning and the lord god shall blow the trumpet. But wait, wait, trumpet, what? Where have we heard that? Okay, and shall go with the whirlwinds of the sling stones and they shall drink and make a noise as through wine and have, and they shall be filled like bowls, as the corner of the altar, and the lord, their god, shall save them in that day as the flock of his people, for they shall be a stone of a crown lifted up as an ensign over this land.
Speaker 1:Now, all of this we're still reading. It sort of seems very allegorical. It seems very, it's sort of confusing, because number one, zachariah, is speaking in terms that he can understand, that god has given him. But now we can see, having gotten all the way through the battle of armageddon, all the way down to the millennial reign, exactly what God was saying to Zechariah. Now it takes on an entirely different meaning. Zechariah 10, 12 and 10,.
Speaker 1:I will pour upon the house of David, upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and supplication, and they shall look upon me. Whom they have pierced? Wait a minute. Who did they pierce exactly? We're still talking about in Zechariah, not in Revelation. So who have they pierced? Who did they pierce in the sign Jesus? They're going to be looking at Jesus During this thousand years and during the great right throne judgment, which we again will be talking about this fall, unfortunately, Just you know, have to throw that out there so, and they shall mourn for him as one mourns for his only son and shall be in bitterness for him, as one is in bitterness for his firstborn. Now, how does that relate to Revelation? Revelation 20, 1-6.
Speaker 1:And I saw an angel come down from heaven having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand, and he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. This is just a thousand years, this is not for eternity. And verse 3, I will cast him into the bottomless pit, where Zechariah said the pit had no. The bottomless pit had no water. Most pits back in those days had water in them because rain would come by and collect in the bottomless pits. That pit had no water why? Because it had no water and shut him up and said a seal upon him that he should deceive the nations no more.
Speaker 1:So now we're talking about, there are still nations. There's still Ghana, there's still Russia, there's still China, the United States, whatever nations are still around At this time. The nations will have the same characteristics as you have right now, except I don't want to get ahead of myself but Until the thousand years shall be fulfilled, and after that he must be loosed for a little season. Now, this is the epitome of biblical foreshadowing that we can never get. He's going to be in prison for a thousand years. He's going to get out, but he's going to do what when he gets out? He's going to deceive the nations again. There's going to be another battle.
Speaker 1:Look again, I'm getting ahead of myself and I saw thrones and they that sat upon them and judgment was given to them, and I saw the souls of them that would be headed for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God, which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their forehead or in their hands, and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Okay, let's stop right there. Remember there will be people. There will be people who will not make the rap now. That in itself is very scary. It's something that I don't want to think about ever. But there will be people who will recognize these things and they will die for not accepting from our feast and they will reign with christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead will not live again until the thousand years were finished, which means they're going to be a second resurrection.
Speaker 1:Remember, the bible said there's a first resurrection. That means there must be a second. Remember, the Bible said there was a first resurrection. That means there must be a second one. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. On the second death hath no power, but they shall be in the priesthood of God Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years. So we're going to set up a new system of government, and this system of government will be one world government, but it will be a one world godly government.
Speaker 1:We tried it the other way first. In other words, we tried it with the enterprise, we tried it with the beast, we tried it with the boss for our bed. We tried it. We tried it this way and that way and it just didn't work. But now we are going to try it a thousand years from now. And this is where certain political leaders of the past, which we shall not name, saw that and thought that he could actually institute this thousand-year reign.
Speaker 1:I said it that way so you can kind of understand who I'm talking about. And the nations will come there annually to worship the Lord. Zechariah 1467. Again, the sign in Revelation, daniel before him and now to Zechariah. And it shall come to pass that everyone that is left, of all the nations which come against jerusalem remember we talked about armageddon, where all nations fought against jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the king lord, of course, and the feast of tabernacle. At no, at no other point that this. Could this ever be? All of these things align this way, except after the battle of Arken, and it shall be that Uso will not come. Of all the families of the earth to Jerusalem, the work of the earth to the king, even upon them shall be no rain. So that kind of tells me that there will be Some people, even after seeing all that they have seen and all that they have gone through and all that they have experienced, will still decide they are not going to go and worship God, and upon them there will be no return.
Speaker 1:Now let's go back to Revelation 22 and 3. Remember that when the devil comes down, he's got to deceive somebody. So let's go back out, go back over there to Revelation 22 and 3. He laid hold of the dragon, that old serpent which is the devil, and Satan found him a thousand years. He has to pin to the bottom of his pit and shut him up and put a seal on him that he should receive the nations no more until the thousand years shall be fulfilled. After that year, he was through the season. However, after this one thousand years, there's going to be a great white throne judgment. It's going to judge the dead From the beginning of time Until now, or until then. Now, only people who will not be judged Will be the redeemed people, which would be people who Rose to meet God in the rapture, remember the second death have no power over the people who already resurrected, remember. So we're talking about people who are already raptured. So when we come back next week, we're going to talk about what's going to happen or why it was important to make the rapture, because you won't be judged during the second one, but everyone after that will have a judgment. We'll have a judgment and I know, I know we have a lot of entertainment stuff that says one thing.
Speaker 1:The Bible says something else, and that's the part where we have to be very careful about who we are following and we have to make sure we have the right word. Here's the thing, and one of the things that expresses the urgency of it. Some people are like well, you know, if I just get a rapture, then I'll know. The Word of God is true. Keep in mind, guys, the way the math works. You only have a. I used to say one in four, but I lately read this math and it's like 17% chance of surviving through just the tribulation.
Speaker 1:We're not even talking about Armageddon. Talking about Armageddon and during Armageddon, so many people are going to die. I remember reading somewhere and I can't remember where I read I think it was in Daniel I'll have to look it up when the Bible talks about Blood in that field being so deep that it will come up to the bridle of a horse. Now, if you've ever stood next to a horse, you'll know that the bridle is fixed on the nose of the horse and typically it's over a lot of people's head, unless you're 60 or taller, 65. It's over your head. You're literally standing inside a putt. That's a lot of putts. So and I'm not saying this to be any kind of fear, mom, or anything like that, please understand that's not my purpose here. My purpose here is to let's talk about the Lord, god, let's talk about things that are true, and you know one of the things. I think that we will begin to do.
Speaker 1:This more is talk about how to find our daily life, some things it is good to often think about. Am I ready to be God now? And I'm just going to wrap this up a little early today, but it's often good to ask yourself are you ready to be God now? If you have any doubt, never mind any, any, any doubt, even a grain of doubt you know I didn't pray for the last few days. You know I'm not sure. I don't know what the Bible says. Now is the time to be ready for it.
Speaker 1:There's so many prophecies we talk about that have come true. There's so many that haven't come true yet. Some of them kind of almost came true but then didn't. So we gotta be ready and let's know again. That's not about being a fear monger. That's actually just saying God has told us everything that is going to happen. Everything that has happened that he's told us about has come to pass. So what are we waiting for? What are we waiting for? The time is now to live with God. The time is now and love each other, love yourself, tell other people that you love them, and it's time for us to not only get right with God, but now is the time to get right with God.
Speaker 1:I'm going to be talking about the power of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power, of the power of the power of, and renewing and remaking. But there's something else that you have to grab, because there will be things that you cannot do. We want it all to be gone. Just because that was one of the questions that I got, some of these things that we have done are those things that we are not. We use trials to get this out of you and that trial is not punished. It's like what God's done to you it's not punished, it's going to make us out of here. It's're going to talk about that future day and I I can't wait to get to your question.
Speaker 1:Love each and every one of you. Thank you for liking. Thank you for those of you guys who are visiting us on YouTube now. Thank you for sharing and subscribing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love each and every one of you and we will see you guys on the next episode. God bless you. Thank you, bye.
