I know that I'm getting a lot of listeners. I think we're on um SoundCloud now and some Apple i some Apple Podcasts, but I'm real happy. I'm just happy that uh people are listening. I'm thankful for each and every one of you. I love each and every one of you. Um now this week, this week, we are finally now, like I said, a couple weeks ago, we were gonna start circling in um tighter and tighter to the scriptures because it was important that we laid a groundwork first on what we mean by end times. So this week, if you're gonna follow along with your Bibles, we're gonna stay in chapters uh 10 and 12 of Daniel, from chapters 10 to chapter 12. And there is a rule of this podcast, and I'm thankful, I'm thankful that you guys reminded me of that. Uh, we do have a rule when we talk about a verse of scripture, read a verse or two above or the verse or two below, but preferably the whole chapter. Why? Because context is key. I can make up anything I want the Bible to say, and a lot of people have either either maliciously or by ignorance, they make up things and uh or they they kind of plug things in that they don't understand, and it makes the Bible say something that it doesn't intend. But in this case, we are going to go through this chapter by chapter. But if you and if you follow along, you read entire chapters of the Bible. Yes, this is my sneaky way of getting you all to read your Bibles, which is important. But when we do read our Bibles and we read it in context, you'll find that um sometimes when we pull scriptures out of context, it's saying something completely different. So, with that being said, we're gonna go ahead and jump into it. I've already burned up enough of our of your time, but um, we're gonna go right into Daniel chapter 10. Now, you will hear me say often that this is my favorite chapter of the book of the Bible. Now I can say that about it, Isaiah chapter 9, I can say that about a lot of different places, but there are so many things about Daniel chapter 10 that I really really really love, and everything sort of leads up to here, and this is where we are going to see a lot of that real end time prophecy the first time we're gonna see it, right? Um, so in the way the Daniel chapter 10 starts out, it it starts out with a promise from God that He answers prayer, and this is why I've often I do call this my favorite chapter of the Bible because it it shows what extent um God will go through to answer prayer, and it's sort of an interlude between Daniel 9 and chapter and Daniel chapter 11, because Daniel chapter 11 is when we start getting into some really historical facts. When people tell you the Bible ain't real, these things don't happen. Please show them Daniel chapter 11. Take notes of this particular episode because we're gonna get into Daniel chapter 11. Um, now Daniel had been fasting and praying for about three weeks, and this is where a lot of people come up with this uh Daniel fast business, and I'm not going to talk down or you know discourage Daniel fast, but this is what was happening. Daniel was fasting and praying for three weeks, and then an angel came. Now, undoubtedly, this was an archangel, and the reason why this was an archangel because um it is the same, it comes in the same way as the angel did in Revelation 1. And the Bible does specifically say that the angel said, I was sent on day one, and um, and although Daniel kept praying and kept fasting and the whole 21 days before the angel arrived, the angel says, Hey man, I was sent on day one, but there was another prince that tried to stop me. And there are and and people don't really take into consideration how how much the spirit world plays into the angelic world. Well, when I say the spirit world, I mean the demon world, plays into the angelic world and what happens when you answer a prayer, you don't get it right away, and then we think, well, God doesn't love me, and God doesn't answer prayer, and but God's answer is already on the way, you just gotta keep praying and fasting, and you mark in time until that happens. So, and it also should be noted before I forget that Daniel was told the second time that he was greatly beloved by God, right when that angel came. Uh, that's gonna be, I would say, read Daniel chapter 10, verse 11, and that's where you hear that. So, let's talk about Michael, who was often referred to as Daniel's prince. And Daniel, uh Michael was the special archangel. We we hear about Michael a lot, we hear about him being the warrior angel, but he was specially commissioned to take care of Daniel's knees, and um in Daniel 10 and 21, it refers to Michael as Daniel's prince, and you see a lot where you see where the word prince is in lowercase, but there's no name attached to it, like like Prince Farqua. There's if there's no name attached to it, then it really means a spiritual being. Now you have to read the context to see if it was a uh an angel or a demon, but this is what it were generally refers to when it says the prince, uh the prince of the air, uh you know, that kind of thing. So there is something to this fasting thing, and Matthew 17, 21. I remember saying, Howbeit this kind going out by prayer and fasting? It's a spiritual battle between demon forces and an angels, angelic forces, and sometimes prayer alone is not sufficient. I know, I know, and I'm talking about you in your spirit being involved in this. God can do anything he wants and will do anything he wants, and prayer alone does accomplish much, but sometimes it takes a little bit more uh emphasis, a little more gusto to break through. And that's where fasting comes into play. Now, for this Bible study, we're not gonna talk about what fasting is. I may you may end up doing a Bible study on fasting because that's also a very in-depth subject that can't really be, I don't think it can be handled in one episode. So we're gonna move along. Um, so here we're gonna get now into Daniel chapter 11, and this is the meat of today's episode. Um, when you talk about how the prophecies are starting to be fulfilled, this is where Daniel's prophecy, Daniel will never ever have seen this prophecy coming or seen it fulfilled, but we do that Daniel chapter 11 was written specifically for us, especially for us to study history and watch things unfold in real time. What am I talking about? Well, if you look at verse 2, it talks about three kings of Persia, and if you follow history, you know that Persia did have three kings. You had Ahazarus, Arthur, Artaxes, or I always mess that one up. Arthur Xerxes and Darius, not Darius the Mead, we're talking about Darius the Persian. Now, the fourth one was Xerxes, and he was wealthy and powerful. So now you get on to verse 3. This mighty king mentioned can only be Alexander the Great. We kind of touched on him last week, and he is that goat seen in chapter 8. So now Daniel's answer is really getting plugged in the where it was supposed to be historically. But in verse 4, it's the only thing that if you look at verse 4, verse 4, it reads a situation where Alexander the Great died, and he died young. And I'll read it for you. And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and it shall be divided towards the four winds of heaven, and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion, which he ruled, for his kingdom shall be plucked up, and those for I'm sorry, even for others beside those. Now, let's look at it. Alex Alexander died young, and his uh kingdom was divided into four generals, and none of his kids were kings of those kingdoms. And historically, not a lot is mentioned about two of these divisions, but emphasis is generally placed on uh Egypt and Syria, and these two countries greatly influenced the history of Palestine and the Jews. And when I say the Palestine, I mean the land of the Palestine, because we know there was no real country called Palestine, but that's neither here nor there. In this prophecy, where it talks about Alexander's kingdom, the king of the south refers to Egypt, and the king of the north refers to Syria. Right? Alright, so then we get down to verse 6, and in the end of years they shall join themselves together, for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement, and she but she shall not retain the power of the arm, neither shall he stand, nor his arm, but she shall be given up. Then they that brought her, he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. Now, so that means there's gonna be some sort of marriage, right? I want you to think back. There was an alliance uh brought about uh when they in the there was a princess in Egypt that uh I believe her name was Berenice, the daughter of Ptolemy II, to Antioch Theos, who was the king of the north. Now, this alliance failed because when Ptolemy died, Antiochus called back his wife and had Berenice poison. So the history and the fulfillment is going on right there. And the silver that the gold that had been um plundered was taken aback, and there was no attempt, no attempt would be to further develop that historical fulfillment of uh chapter 11th, but it would be profitable for you to do some research, and I mean you um anyone who's listening to this podcast to see just how accurately that happened. And I wrote that because I didn't want to spend three and a half weeks on how that alliance fell apart and what happened after that. So, let's look at Antiochus Epiphanes, Daniel 11, 21 to 45. Now, I I I strongly suggest you read that one. You can pause this right here, but I don't want to take up too much time reading the whole thing. Now, this man is the little horn of chapter 8 and a type of the Antichrist, not the Antichrist himself, but a type of the Antichrist because he was the younger son of Antiochus the Great, and he's described in considerable detail. And I'm gonna tell you how they describe him vile, he's gonna come with uh peace and and with smooth tongue, he's gonna say all the right words, he's going to be an atheist, he's not going to believe in God, he's not even going to profess God, but he is going to talk real smooth, and he's going to be very a lot of women are going to be like, Oh, look at that man. He's a man's man. A lot of women are going to desire him. Um, but he will also be materialistic. I would I would say look around uh verse 38 for that, and he shall desecrate the temple after saying he doesn't believe in God, and he's going to do it in this sort of new humanistic way that we have these days of saying, Well, I can be God, and that's going to be, I would say, look around verse 31 for that. So those five things is going to be who that Antichrist is, but this Antiochus, the you know, the younger, is going to be more like the uh like a type in shadow, like an Antichrist dry run, so to speak. Now, how does that refer to now? Well, the present struggle that we have going on in the in middle in the eastern Mediterranean is kind of shown here in this chapter. Now, although you know this chapter is fulfilled in prophecy, it is a forerunner of what's about to happen. Now, when it's antichrist, the real Antichrist, the Capital A Antichrist, the one that we're all looking for, that we don't really want to see, and because we all hope it's gonna be a rapture. I know I'm off in a tangent, but this Antichrist, who's gonna come to power just the same way as Antiochus did, and he's gonna deceitfully speak, and he's gonna have uh he's gonna be able to flatter everybody, and and in the beginning, Israel's gonna be deceived too, and that's gonna be the key. Israel is the antichrist is either gonna be a Jewish person because he gotta deceive Israel, because Israel will play along with you and not be deceived. Please understand. I I've I've watched how Jews sort of operate, and this is not, please understand, this is not an anti-Semitic podcast. If you don't like Jews, that's your problem. You gotta deal with God. But Jews are God's people, but after they've gone through so much, it becomes very difficult to deceive them, and the Israelites or the Jews of this day are going to be almost completely smitten by this character, all except for the ones that are sealed. So now when Israel's eyes get open to his real character, the country is going to break the covenant, and then there's going to be a fierce persecution of the Jews as a result. This is why a lot of people thought that the uh the Holocaust was that persecution. But the the problem was Israel never went along with Hitler. Hitler always from the beginning said he hated Jews, so that wasn't it. So that has not this whole breaking the cop uh covenant and then the persecution has not happened yet. So then we now we get to chapter 12. Now, the conjunction that links this to chapter 11 is describing the antichrist. Now, this means at the time or speaking at the time of the Antichrist, and the Antichrist will be accepted. I will say this again that the Antichrist will be accepted by the Jews, but this can only happen after the rapture of the church. Why? Because what's gonna happen when Jesus spoke about the rapture, he spoke about it in vague terms. Two would be in the field, one would take and the other one left. But he also said this in John 5 43 if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive. So that means there has to have been a situation where the um the spiritual um I'm trying to find the right word. The spiritual acceptance, the spiritual ground will be so tilled by something, something massive that's going to affect worldwide that Israel is going to accept him as the as a quote-unquote savior, even though he will be the Antichrist. I'm not sure how that will go. In my author's sort of sense, I would think that once this rapture happens, this Antichrist, who who claims he does not believe in God, is going to somehow make it seem as if he's the one that effectuated the removal of Christians from the planet. And if you didn't make it as a Christian, or if you didn't make it, you can just come and worship him. And I know I do love the Left Behind series, and I uh I I kind of had a little bit of an issue with that part of the book, but it's a great series, by the way. It's like 12 books. Uh I 100% recommend reading it if you need something good to read. Um, but I just don't like the fact afterwards there was something going on with the you can be saved after the rapture if you're not Jewish. The Bible doesn't support that, and we're gonna get into that. But um going back to this Antichrist in Book of Book of Daniel, chapter 12, I would say read 9 and 27 because he's gonna make a this this antichrist is going to make a covenant with the Jews, and he's gonna break it in the middle of the week. That's remember we talked about a couple weeks ago about this, how the weeks are are denoted. So we're looking at instead of a week of years, in other words, seven years, he's gonna break it in three and a half years, and that's why we here talk about the tribulation and then the great tribulation. Okay, now there will be a book of life, and Daniel also sort of mentions it almost in passing, but remember the book of life is gonna be in Revelation, and special attention should be given to the statement that's given, um, because the resurrection and the rewards given to the wise and the soul winners are gonna be in verse 3. But once you come. To that great white throne, and I'm gonna say this, and we're probably gonna be done for today. Once you come to that great white throne, and what do I mean by great white throne? After the rapture of the church, that is that in itself is a judgment. You have have been and oh, yep, yep, I can hear you right now. I know the word rapture does not appear in the Bible, absolutely does not. That is a concept that we come up with to it to um to sort of encapsulate the Lord descended from heaven with the shout with the voice of archangel and the trump of God and the dead and Christ shall be rise first. And we which are alive and remain shall be caught up to put them to be with the Lord with the air, and so shall we ever be with Him. Instead of saying that, every time we're talking about this miraculous calling up of living saints before the Antichrist appears, we say rapture. I know sort of confusing because the word rapture does not appear. But whenever we see that we hear that word rapture, that's what we are thinking about. At some point, something's gonna split the sky, God is gonna split the sky somehow. And these next thing you know, the people who are who have the Holy Ghost and have been born again are gonna be called up. Now, when is that gonna happen? I don't know. Jesus Himself said He the only He'll the only person who knows is Him. So um, and this is where it kind of goes into that whole uh thing about uh when people were saying, Hey, on on the 25th of October 2025, it's gonna be this rapture, and they don't know, there's no way they can know because that would make God a liar. And if God is a liar, then there is no rapture, which sort of self-defeats these this whole thing that they did. So, um, and I I again that's what gave birth to this Bible study, because so many people ruined their lives trying to figure out something that God said that we cannot know as people, we cannot know, and there's a reason for that. There's a reason for that. I mean, I mean, just think about it again. I just think about it. If you knew that a thing was not going to be illegal anymore, like, say, for example, when they announced, hey, you know, weed is not going, you can't buy weed anymore. Now, I don't know it, I don't know. But people who like to smoke weed will go out and buy all the weed they can the night before it became illegal, and then they would get caught with the weed the next day and say it was legal when I bought it. Same thing with the rapture. If if you knew the rapture was coming on the second Tuesday of November, you can live your life as sinfully and as crazy with as much debauchery as you wanted to, all the way up to that Monday night before the Tuesday, and then you would call yourself getting trying to get right with God and then get mad when you got left behind. But living for God is not like that, and that's all I'm gonna say on that. But it's very important that even though we are given signs and we are given uh sort of roadmap to when what the end times are, we don't exactly know the day nor the hour. Remember, Jesus said the day nor the hour. He did not say we wouldn't know the week, he didn't say we wouldn't know the year, and he didn't say we wouldn't know um any other time, the decade. But what we do know is that when we see uh things happening, and Jesus even said so much more as you see the day approaching. Paul said it too. So much more as you see the day approaching, you see it coming, you just don't know which one it is. I know that sounds confusing, um, especially given how these people take the scripture and then turn it off upside down and start just kind of you know being and and you know, I'm let me stop there because I don't think people are really doing it trying to be malicious, they're just misled, they're they've they've they've been lied to and um and they kind of deceive themselves, and so and then we people who really want to get up out of here and really want to go to heaven, and but we don't know how, we just sort of follow these people, and this is tragic, and it's tragic because if you tell team that, you know, and they're gonna go back to this um this one rapture thing. You tell me, hey, the rapture's gonna be on October 22nd, 2025, but October 22nd, 2025 comes and goes, What is going to happen to me? I believed you, I 100% believed you that God exists and that there was um that rapture is gonna happen that day, but that day happened, came and went, and the next day, October 23rd came and went, and not one person disappeared. Either A, you're a liar, because that wasn't the day God said, or B, you're a liar because God doesn't exist, or C, you're a liar because you said I could go if I did all these things. And either way, at the end of the day, you're a liar, and now I don't, I have no further reason to believe in God. I was the just coming out of the world, and I I can't stumble across this. And this is the kind of situation that people find themselves in. And it really is heartbreaking uh watching people now saying, Man, I really believed I was gonna, I would today was today. Now I I question so much stuff, and I think that's what the intention of the devil was, um, was to get people to uh sort of fall into that. So, and that's real sad. I know we we kind of ran over a little bit today, but I just wanted to point out that Daniel 10 and 12 is where it starts talking about the Antichrist, and there are specific, very specific historical references that that line up with Daniel 10 and 12. So I love each and every one of you. We will next week, next week, Lord willing, and chapter doesn't happen, right? Um, we were gonna be talking about the other signs of the end times when we're gonna talk about chapter 12, where we're gonna talk about times of trouble, and and there's gonna be other prophecies with Daniel that's gonna be unsealed in a way. Um, and then we're gonna really start going into that, and we're gonna be focused more on Daniel chapter 12 by itself. All right, love each and every one of you. I hope to see you. Thank you for liking and sharing. Hit the subscribe button if you watch it on YouTube. Thank you all very much. I love each and every one of you. Bye bye.
