Welcome And How To Send Questions
SPEAKER_00Hello, everybody. Welcome to today's episode of Walk With Me. I am your host, JJ. It's so good to have each and every one of you here. Thank you all so much for liking, sharing, and telling everybody about the podcast and responding, uh, sending me questions. I do so enjoy questions. Uh, it actually helps me to study. And I do I do study beforehand, I do study hand to hand, but it's not about me, but um it really does help me stay focused on what is true and what's not. Um, I and if you do have questions, um, go ahead and make sure you send me a line at walkwithme bible study at gmail.com, walk with me bible study at gmail. I don't have a problem answering questions. And you know, I actually don't think there's any such thing as a stupid question when it comes to the word of God. I may think a question is irrelevant, um, but for instance, and and let me just I'm gonna say this, we're gonna move on. Um, I don't like, for example, I got a question a couple days ago, and if you have a question that's kind of a one-line answer, then I will just email it back, email the answer in the scripture back to you. Um, and if that's the case, then that's fine. And but I got a question the other day that was kind of a one-liner answer, and that question was and it was it was seriously a deep question, but it really had a one-line answer. And the question was, why did God choose the Hebrews when the Chinese were already well developed? And I and for a while that stunned me, and and um people who were we were chatting about, and they were like, Oh, they was really coming down on the person. I but I actually thought that was a really rather intelligent question. The only problem is that there's no way that we can answer that. That's a question that God would have to answer. And so I basically sent the person a private message saying, hey, well, listen, I don't I don't think it's a stupid question, I just think it's an irrelevant one, but it's a question that you can ask God when you get there. Like, for instance, I I have questions I want to ask, like, I want to ask Adam, like Adam, why did you eat the fruit when you knew it was bad that to do so? You knew it wasn't supposed to happen. I I just want to know. I want to know if my theory was right, that you said, well, nothing happened to Eve, so I'm gonna go ahead and try it too. I I just I'm like those there are questions that I'm going to ask that are not in the Bible, and if it's not in the Bible, uh remember that the Bible is geared towards our salvation, so there's gonna be some questions that you may not have an answer to, like like this one why did God choose the Hebrews instead of the Chinese? And uh there's a lot of interesting theories, but the theories didn't pan out because and if you want to say, well, the Chinese are worshiping something else, so was Abraham's folks. So, yeah, so whatever whatever reason it was, it's it's a reason that we would have to ask God for directly, face to face. Hey God, you know, I was always wondering, what's why did you do that? And but right now, uh our main focus is not why God chose Abraham, but why did God choose me to um to partake in this salvation and and you know that kind of thing? So I I get it, and um I love answering questions. As a matter of fact, there's like 3,300 questions in the Bible. So asking questions is not the problem. The the issue is can we ask questions out of a general sense of curiosity, or are we being antagonistic, or is the question irrelevant and can we accept the fact that the question is irrelevant? Like, why did God make the sky blue? I it's it's irrelevant. I mean, he could have made the sky orange, would it would it mean anything? But I'm saying now that I'm kind of rambling a little bit, but you know, I I do love biblical questions, I do love biblical questions. Uh email me at walk with me bible study, email me at walk with me bible study, and I will be more than happy to do what I can. And there are some people are really stumping. I've had to say, hey man, I don't know. Let me study on it and let me get back to you. And there's a couple people that's still waiting on their answers, but I I really do love each and every one of you. Thank you all so much. Thank you all for uh the sponsors, two bars lyricists, uh, with the intro and outro and the squisit creations. She makes some acts 238 dominoes, and they are fire, man. They are fire. So thank you all so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. All right, so we are in, as a matter of fact, the last few months we've been walking through the end times, and this is all in reference to one young lady's question and how it tied into a bunch of things that was happening. Oh that's almost six months now. Yes, we are still talking about the end times. Um, and if you've been following this uh podcast or if you just joined us for the last few months, um, we went I wanted to go through this thing step by step because if this is one of the things that we are always so uh focused on, like is this the end of the world? And and and when we are focused on one thing without looking at the bigger context, the bigger picture, it's easy for us to get uh deceived. And this is what happens to a lot of people, and this is why in October people were were quitting their jobs and running up huge debts. And and I'm just gonna say this aside the Bible says to pay your bills. So if you're out there running up huge debts thinking you're gonna go up in the rapture, you're probably not gonna make it. Because wouldn't that sound doesn't that sound a lot like greed, and doesn't that also sound a lot like stealing? Now, that doesn't mean you're not supposed to buy a car, and that doesn't mean you're not supposed to buy a house, that doesn't mean you're not supposed to have debt, that if you're gonna have debt, you're gonna go up, you're not gonna go to heaven. That's what I'm saying, but that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is if you think that tomorrow you're gonna go into rapture and you have no idea, or let's just say, let me rephrase that. If if your financial situation says that you can make a$500 a month car payment, and you think you're gonna go up in a rapture, and you get a car payment that's fifteen hundred dollars a month, because you think you won't have to pay it, that's probably stealing. So, and I'm just gonna put that out there. So, and I'm I'm saying this, you know, dead serious face. So, and I that's what a lot of people were doing. So, we started this um, this sort of this study about the end times, and we kind of covered, I wanted to cover it from A to Z. I wanted to cover the fact that we're not just looking at Revelation, uh, but there are a lot of places in the Bible that refer to the end times, and as a matter of fact, Daniel is the companion book to Revelation. Wanted to talk about all the terrestrial things that are going on, the heavenly things that are going on that um as far as the end times, but now we are coming into the home stretch because I wanted to leave the the man things, the uh the humanity part to the old to the end times blast. And the reason why I say that is because this is where a lot of people's focus is going to be while they're trying not to blame God for what's going on supernaturally. So last week we covered the two witnesses. This week we're going to focus on the what's called the great red dragon, and the scriptural context for this is Revelation 12, 1 through 7. By the way, if I ever give you a scripture that's kind of like just sticking out there, I give you one or two, please do yourself a favor because it's a rule of this podcast. Read a verse or two above, a verse or two below, but preferably the whole chapter because context is key. So we're gonna go through this, and I hope I can get through all of this today. If not, we'll just continue it next week. But we're gonna talk about the great red dragon today. Now, one of the things that you will see in when it talks about the end times and when you talk about the dragon, you're gonna see the word wonder. And that word wonder um is it means like a sign or a a symbol or a way to catch your attention, and the first time you see that word wonder in that context, it's gonna be in the 12th chapter of Revelation, and the second time in in this chapter is going to be when it talks about this great red dragon in Revelation 12 and 3. Now, I'm not talking about when Jesus is talking about you're gonna see signs and wonders, I'm talking about in Revelation. In Revelation, you're gonna see it in chapter 12, you're gonna see it in 12 and 3. Now, this wonder is going to be the double. Uh the depiction is that he's gonna have seven heads and ten horns, and what that will signify is that um it's going to identify him and it's going to point also to his representative, the beast. So you got the dragon, the red dragon, and the beast. The two separate entities. Now, you will see right away that he has this deep-seated hatred for the revelation woman. Okay, now I'm not talking about the harlot, the revelation woman. Because he's gonna hate the woman, uh, the one that's clothed with the sun and and does his utmost. He's gonna try his best to destroy the child, and this character is going to be described by these names. In verse number three, you're gonna hear described as the great red dragon. In verse nine, they're gonna call him the old serpent, the devil, Satan. And Satan really just means adversary. In verse 10, you're gonna see it, uh, see him referred to as the accuser of the brother. And to understand exactly why this is the case, you have to go to Isaiah chapter 14. And that is where the the description of Satan actually comes into being. We don't we kind of hear, we we see the effects of Satan, we we see what he does, but we don't really get a backstory on Satan until Isaiah tells us in um Isaiah chapter 14. And basically, just to give you a brief recap, he decided because he looked so nice and he was so wonderful, all of a sudden, he just decided that he was going to be like God. And at first, if you read it with an innocent heart, it almost looks like he kind of tricked himself into thinking he could be as big and as important as God. And and uh through the passage of time, he started to convince his section of angels to follow him, and they really didn't have a choice, but he deceived them into following him, and all of a sudden he decided he went to fight Michael and Gabriel, and then he lost because it was two-thirds of angels versus one-third of angels, and the math just isn't gonna work. So, and this is gonna be the original expulsion of Satan, and this was not the final overthrow, this was just him getting kicked out of heaven, and and although Satan's main forces are kind of limited to uh the earthly realm as you and I know it, Satan himself still has access to heaven, and the reason why you know that because you see um in Job, he goes to heaven, he walks around heaven, and God says, Hey man, where you been? And where you been at what you been doing? And he says, Well, I was just in earth and walking up and down in it, and he's and then God starts to like mess with him, he starts to troll him. And don't ask me why. People like to ask me why God trolls Satan. I I really don't know. That's something you're gonna have to ask God, but um he he does that, but in Revelation 12 and 10, he talks about how much Satan likes to accuse the brethren, use and by brethren, I'm just not just saying anybody on the planet. I'm by accusing the brethren, he's talking about people who are um in in the church, in the body, that is on they're on their way to heaven. He will accuse you. Don't think just because you start going to church, you the devil don't accuse you anymore. That's not true. Um, and as a matter of fact, the first thing he did was accuse the first time we see him in the accusatory role was in Job when he started accusing Job, when Job had done nothing wrong. So that's going to happen. Now, but in the in the middle of the the tribulation here, he's going to actually get tossed out of heaven for good. And um, we're gonna talk again about how the devil fought with Michael and his his angels, and then but this time a woe is gonna be pronounced on the earth, and then we're going to hear that the devil's gonna have us a short time in Revelation 12 and 12, and that anger is going to be focused on all men, and no, this is not, and and it's easy to think, well, this part happened a long time ago. No, because remember, um, the devil was able to walk around and talk about Job in heaven, and and the devil was able to to talk to God several times face to face in heaven while Job was alive. So, this getting tossed out of heaven is not really gonna happen until in this tribulation period sometime, because you think things are bad now, you think we have a demonic influence now, you wait till Satan actually gets kicked out of heaven with all the rest of his angels, but and we call them demons because we don't want to confuse them with the with the quote-unquote good angels. Wait until that happens, then you're gonna see a completely different, uh, a completely different, you know, way of life. And we don't want to be here for that, right? We would rather watch the game from the stands rather than in the middle of the field with no pads on. Now, who is this woman? Now, the this first woman in in Revelation 12, um, it's gonna be a woman that's described as the sun. Now, this is considered the nation of Israel. Why? Because there's 12 stars, because it's gonna you see 12 stars, and those 12 stars will refer to the 12 tribes. Now, that means it can only be Israel, it is not the church, y'all. It can only be Israel. Remember, why is that? Because the the church, the church, the Christian church, the Holy Ghost filled Jesus baptized church has already gone out of the world somewhere around Revelation chapter 12, uh Revelation chapter 5. Okay, so this chronologically speaking, we and by we, I'm speaking in faith now because I really don't want to be here to see this. We we're gonna be watching from the stands about this time. This is not Revelation 12. All this stuff is going on, we're gone. The nation of Israel will still be there, and by the nation of Israel, and I'm not even talking about all Jewish people, because there are Jewish people who have who have recognized Jesus as the Messiah, gotten baptized in Jesus' name, gotten the Holy Ghost, and they're gone too. We're talking about the the people who have not accepted Jesus as um being the messiah and have are still holding on to the Judaism that we know, right? Oh man, this time is going on. All right, so remember now. So this is there, they're gonna be people of this these 12 tribes, and of this 12 tribe, only 12,000 of each tribe is going to make it. So that shows how daunting this is going to be for anybody who misses the bus, so to speak. So please understand, and let me just talk about this because um throughout throughout, um, I would say since Daniel, since Daniel wrote his book, everybody was looking for the Messiah. The Jews were looking for the Messiah. Um, and although the man child was born and at Bethlehem, she is travailing still, and that travail is gonna be an intense pain, and she's waiting to be delivered. That's why the revelation was will will depict this as a woman in travail, waiting to be delivered, because the Jews are still gonna be looking for this messiah, and she could only be uh relieved of this travail when she accepts the when she accepts the idea that the savior was actually born 2,000 years ago. And when you read this part of Revelation, you see something really kind of weird here. You see a vision that Satan is ready, standing ready to basically catch this child that she's gonna have. So, and when we when he he's standing there and he's waiting to kill the child, it refers to the attitude um of Satan ever since Genesis 3.15, when that promise was given that the world uh given to the world that deliverance would come, and it would come from the seed of the woman, and Satan would have initiated the conflict of this whole conflict. I know that sounds a little confusing because I'm jumping back and forth in time, but remember, this is the promise that that started way back when Adam and Eve first messed up, you know, and this is that promise finally being fulfilled. So Satan initiates this conflict. He wants us to stamp out the seed of the woman. He always wants to destroy the children. We we see that now, we we've seen it ever ever since I've been, I can remember, uh, Satan really's been coming after kids in a very, very harsh, hard way. Um but all the way from like the murder of Abel to when Herod had a decree to kill the babies to certain idol worshiping um peoples where they would take babies and and burn them alive in the arms of Molech, and um all the way down to Armageddon, there will be a constant attempt for Satan to destroy the the seed of the woman because the devil knows that it's that seed of the woman that will finally defeat him. And so during this last three and a half years of the tribulation, there's going to be one of the most ridiculous anti-Semitism uh crusades that you've ever you think anti-Semitism is bad now? Run it exponentially, that's just how bad it's gonna be. All right, so it's it's going to be till you think the Holocaust was bad? No, no, no, no, no, no. That's a picnic. And yes, the Holocaust was terrible, but that's a picnic compared to the anti-Semitism you're gonna see in the last three and a half years of tribulation. So, all of my Jewish friends out there, I I beg you, I beg you to read the book of Acts in the Bible. Okay, so throughout this, um throughout this persecution period, though, God will protect um Israel supernaturally, however, anti Semitism everywhere else will be just ridiculous. Um, and Satan's gonna have a lot of power as far. As hatred and wrath is concerned, it's going to be directed at God's chosen people, and but there is a hope because at somewhere during this time there's going to be a revival, and it's going to be a huge revival at this time. And you're going to hear the term remnant of seed, which means there's going to be a possibly another. Um, I don't want to use the word Holocaust in this sense, but there will be the fact that there's going to be a revival in the remnant of the seed means there's going to be there's going to be a lot of loss. I'll just say it that way. It just sounds like it's going to be a lot of loss when the Bible says in remnant um of seed of her seed, it's talking about the remaining uh Israelites that are still alive. And and this is good, and this during this time, this remnant will give complete obedience to God. I mean, it's gonna be a wonderful time that that uh they're gonna literally give a um an eye just a 100% devotion and love and dedication to God, and that's gonna be the revel, that's gonna be the remnant of uh what do they call the remnant of her seed. This will be Revelation 12, 17. Now you see how I'm I I hated the fact that I couldn't read that entire chapter, but I wanted I want you to read it, Walkers. I really want you to read it um slowly and take notes because this is just that first 17 verses. Now, one two things to remember that when as soon as this red dragon shows up, you're gonna have this problem with the uh with anti-Semitism, you're gonna have um a huge persecution of Jews, but then you're gonna all of a sudden you're gonna get a lot of Jewish people um decide to completely follow God. Oh, and by the way, and let me just say this before you email me about who's the real Jews and things like that, I that's not my fight. That's not my fight. If you feel like you're part of the real Jews, then you have you already have a big problem because that means you've already missed the boat, you already missed the boat as far as uh following Jesus already. So, and then I'm just saying that because I know for the last couple weeks when I start talking about Israelites, some people get in the inbox and start talking about the real Jews. That's that's not my problem. What I what I mean by real Jews is are you are you are a Jew as far as the Bible is concerned? Are you a descendant of one of the 12 sons of Jacob, Israel, and what tribe? That's all I care about. Okay, I'm and I'm just gonna let that go at that point. Now, the other thing that that these um that these new this remnant of seed is going to have, along with the uh complete obedience with God, is they're going to have a testimony of Jesus Christ, and that's where I have to end it because I'm out of time. But they're literally going to be able to testify of Jesus Christ, and I know at that point you you're thinking, well, it's gonna be too late. No, because remember, God is gonna supernaturally protect them, 12,000 of each tribe. So, I mean, this this is gonna be a rough time, and some people are going to be killed for that faith. Because it's all gonna be faith at this point, okay. So, that being said, we're gonna have to wrap this up again. I'm already over time. I love each and every one of you. Next week, we're gonna talk about the man child, Lord willing, and then we'll go from there. I love each and every one of you. God bless you all.
