I know some of you were looking for an episode. I I didn't disappear, the rapture didn't happen, but I did just I just felt lazy, y'all. I'm sorry. I I felt lazy. I I I was for whatever reason I didn't post last week. That's let's just leave it at that. I um I I feel real bad about it. I was telling my my brother Joseph Roberts, um, my brother in Christ in Kansas that I felt real bad about it. And he said, Well, you know, sometimes you just gotta take a break. Yes, yes, and Lord, you know, even the Lord took a break. So I still feel kind of guilty, but you know what? That's what brings me back here because I love each and every one of you. I thank God for each and every one of you, and I thank God for his spirit and his grace and his mercy. Alright, so that being said, we are going to get into today's episode. Just because I just like getting that word out. I love each and every one of you. Alright, so we're gonna get into it because I've already wasted enough of your time. No further ado. Um we are now coming down to the end of this this Bible study not this Bible study, but the answer to this question, and I kind of realize now that I kind of didn't do this right. By separating the the the terrestrial activity, like the earthquakes and the and you know this and that and the people like the antichrist and the beasts and I sort of made it confusing that um that these things are running separately, but they are running concurrently, they are not running consecutively, okay. And and I may do like a quick recap right at the end, okay. So where we are right now is that the table has been set for Armageddon. The Armageddon is about to happen. So, what is Armageddon? Now keep in mind, a lot of people think that the Armageddon happens and then the rapture. No, the Armageddon is the battle before the millennial reign. Okay, it's before the millennial reign, and the battle of Armageddon is going to be um the battle against Jerusalem, which is why I am very careful about uh talking against Israel. I do not want to be on the enemy side here. So it's gonna be the people, it's gonna be armies that come up against Jerusalem, headed by the revived Roman Empire. And there's gonna be, I'm just trying to imagine how they're going to camp because you can't just march all these armies into Jerusalem one time. You're gonna have to stage your troops, and it's gonna be a massive troop buildup like you've never seen before. I've never seen before. It's I mean, the hills around Jerusalem is gonna swarm with people, it's gonna be just I can't even imagine. And the there's gonna be unclean spirits working miracles, um, people are gonna be deceived, and they're gonna be brought together to in with the intention of destroying Jerusalem. But this battle is going to be with all the people involved, it is going to be a catastrophically short one. Um, and why is that? Because the Bible says that the Lord is going to appear and basically deliver one blow. So basically, with all this build-up and all this staging and all of this, the battle's gonna be over faster than you can even imagine. And where did we see this before? Remember, uh, we talked about how um how Revelation and Daniel were companion books. Well, Nebuchadnezzar saw this, and that's where we was like uh they saw a stone that was cut out of the mountain with no hands in Daniel 2 and 34 in that vision, and that's what smoked the image of the beast of the feet and broke them to pieces. Now, the accomplishment of that um is going to take place at the Battle of Armageddon, and that is where it's antichrist will be destroyed. So, this is going to be what's going to happen as a result. Now, again, the armies of everybody else, uh anybody that's attacking Jerusalem, is going to be destroyed. The beast and the false prophet tossed alive into the lake of fire. The rotting bodies of the people who will die in this this battle are going to be eaten by vultures. And Jesus is going to come into the earth on the Mount of Olive. Now, for that, uh, I will say read Zechariah 14 and 4. Oh, and also there is a um there's a rule on this podcast that I give you a scripture where we talk about a scripture, but you always want to read a verse or two above or the verse or two below, but preferably the whole chapter. Because context is key in everything. Um, and when Jesus does come down on that mountain, on the Mount of Olives, it's going to be split in two. Don't ask me why, but it's going to be split in two. I'm waiting for God to reveal to me why He's going to split that one in two, split that mountain two. Uh, the devil is going to be bound up, and this is where we're going to enter into that millennial reign. And the devil's going to be in the bottomless pit for a thousand years, and you're going to talk about peace. That's where you're going to have a lot of your peace. And that would be um the beginning of that thousand years. Now, I kind of sped through that because the better part of it is we were going to talk about Revelation chapter 17 and 18, the judgment of Babylon. Now, the Revelation 17 and 18 are sort of like a parenthetical chapter. We talked about that before, where you know you had something going on, and then you kind of have like a little breath or a little break, and then something else big happens. And 17 and 18 are those parenthetical chapters. And um, 17 to 18 is going to be the parentheses parentheses between 16 and 19. And I you gotta understand that the judgment of Babylon, Babylon has to be judged because they are so full of idolatry, they're so full of uh fake worship, and they're they're so full of uh bad religion, so to speak, that um it's actually a type of shadow of when Nimrod built Babel. When uh Nimrod built Babel, he called it the gate of God. Now that was awful presumption was coming right off the gate. And as soon as that happened, God brought um judgment and confusion. And this is where we have we started getting different languages. That's why I always laugh at when people push the uh the language learning app Babble. You know where they got that from? They just added an extra B. But that's literally what it is. You're learning extra languages. Now, the other thing that Babylon was known for was this um this spirit of idolatry, and they never ceased it. They never stopped worshiping idols, they never stopped. It's important to understand that that idolatrous spirit of Babylon never ever ceased. It took on many different forms, it took on many different names, but the idolatry and and the false god worship never ever ceased. Um, and the significance of this is that how it kind of blended itself into um a more political system and then sort of a political religious system. And God saw fit to dedicate two whole chapters to describing this judgment and the end of the Antichrist system. So um in Revelation, I want to go back and touch on uh three times God said something very important. Revelation, he said, um, he told John to come hither. So that is an end of something, and that and that was the vision in heaven, Revelation 4 and 1. There was a judgment of uh Babylon in Revelation 17 and 1, and then the bride, the lamb's wife, in Revelation 21, 19. So from this, we can see that God has placed a huge importance on the judgment of Babylon. So, what is the judgment of Babylon? The judgment of Babylon, basically, to put it into a very uh uh blunt term, is what's called the harlot church. This harlot church um will will be what's going to be dominating the world at the time of Armageddon is what's gonna be called, and y'all forgive me for the language, I didn't write it, the Bible wrote it. Uh, it's gonna be called a whore, a harlot, a prostitute, one who sells her purity for monetary gain. Now, let's just pause right there because we're gonna pause this mistake and identification. Whatever image you just had of the harlot church, your vision, the image you had in your head was not complete enough. And I'm gonna say that again the whatever vision you had in your head when we were talking about the Babylonian church, the harlot church, it it was not complete enough. Once you figure out what this what the whole harlot church, the definition of the harlot church is, and and there's being and we kind of figure out, especially as men and women, as adults, we figure out that there's nothing better than a virtuous woman, Psalms 31. Everyone wants to be that Psalm 31 woman, so we kind of have an idea what a virtuous woman is, but there's nothing worse than an adulterous woman. And and when I say stuff like that, people get kind of like, Will you're attacking women? No, no, no. I mean just I mean men too. There's nothing better than a virtuous man, and there's nothing worse than an adulterous woman. And I'm speaking from a man who has like temptations, all right? And I'm I mean this, I mean this with all transparency, right? But just as there's nothing worse than an adulterous person with no virtue, there's nothing better than belonging to the bride of being in the bride of Christ, who is what? Now, virtuous and holy. So, and if there's nothing better than being a part of the bride of Christ, then there's nothing worse than being a part of the harlot church. Now, here's the thing upon the forehead of the church, um, there's gonna be written a word mystery. This word means secret. And by and by secret, that means their true identity is hidden. And but now that the mask is gonna be stripped away when we get towards the Battle of Armageddon, um, and I believe the map is gonna the mass is gonna be stripped away about halfway through the tribulation because people are gonna realize that they're going to be deceived, but then choose their deception, choose to continue their deception. And and this is the best way that the secrecy is going to be explained. Now, the harlot church is clearly identified by the fact that she's situated on seven mountains, and and this is a sort of an attempt to sort of mimic God because you you ever see you hear people they want to talk about numerology, this and 111 and 7 and 3, and all and so the harlot church is going to take advantage of this sort of uh low-key idolatry worship and sit itself on seven mountains. Guess what? The city of Rome is built on seven hills. Now, if that was the case, then that would indicate to us that the Roman Catholic Church is what is the what is being described here as the Harlow Church. And I know that that kind of that might hurt a lot of people's feelings, but I'm sorry, I didn't write the book. I'm just telling you what the Bible says, and I'm telling you what I don't know of any other city that is built on Seven Hills. However, we gotta keep in mind that she this this uh this this uh harlot church is actually described as the mother of harlot. So that generally kind of means um that this church or this uh woman is going to give birth to other harlots. Whoa! Well, what does that mean? So that means if a uh if that sort of doctrine is passed down to other women, then the other woman becomes the harlot. What am I saying? The I know I put this very nicely. Okay, so well and I'm just gonna name one thing because we talked about it before. Um one of the biggest things that the Catholic Church has brought to the world of um religion is the idea of the Trinity, and that idea of the Trinity is is supposed to actually intended to take away the power of the one true God. The Bible says it all the way through. It's one God, it's one God, it's one God. But the the Roman Catholic Church, in persecuting the original church, was instituted through the Jesuit priests. I know that I'm I'm just throwing a lot of facts out there. I would I would suggest you study this. That they they threw out there this idea of a trinity, and they've refined it over the years because as more people begin to read the Bible, they start asking questions that can't be answered. So they they first started with the Holy Trinity, right? And they took um different things from Babylon and they incorporated it back into the Roman church, and then pushed it out through people who were false prophets, people who didn't know any better. They pushed it into what we call like denominational religion. You will go into a lot of churches there, and they will they will tell you there are three gods. There's a father and the son and the holy spirit, and each one of these are separate. But then what happened was people started to talk about uh hey, what about this scripture? What about this scripture? And then they came up with a new term, and it was called the triune God. Well, there are three gods, but they're just sort of kind of like science together. So they're they're really three, but but they're kind of together. So, and this is still a mutation of the gospel that was brought. And I'm trying to use Billy's water downwards. It's really a mutation of of the of the uh idolatrous worship, the polytheistic worship that the Catholic Church instituted. Now, this uh adulterous religious system is going to be universal. It's gonna be known by in verse one, it talked about how this universal church is going to be sitting on many waters, which um explains in verse 15 where it says peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues, which means this whole thing is gonna dominate the whole world. All races, all nationalities, whatever this harlot church will be, it will dominate. And this is going to become a very apostate church. It's it's gonna be wealthy, it's gonna be uh arrayed, um, you know, displayed in a lot of gorgeous attire and beautiful buildings, and and and everything's gonna be looking great on the outside. However, the in the book of Revelation just says that she's gonna have a golden cup that is full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication. So now all of this has been going on in the background of the of the tribulation. It actually has been going on in the background of now. People are deceived every day about this, and and I'm saying this because I used to be Catholic. Oh my god, I'm almost running out of time. Um, I used to be Catholic. And when I was in school, I I was I didn't like the cold stacks stuff of uh being a Baptist, and so I I I liked a Catholic girl, so I decided to try out being a Catholic. That was all cool, and it was okay. So I yeah, I've I I I stopped I stopped just short of taking the catechism. Now I don't know if that means that I wasn't fully Catholic, but for the sake of discussion, I consider myself Catholic. So moving right along. Um when this comes time for this universal church, which will not, I don't think it will be the form of the Catholic Church you see today, but it will sort of be a sort of re uh refusion of all the other doctrinal beliefs that come that came out of the Catholic Church. But once this happens, once this happens, all of it's going to be judged at one time. Chapter 18. This is an account of the destruction of the political and commercial um system that Babylon has instituted. Now, this is not going to take place until the end of the tribulation at the battle of Armageddon. So, all again, all this stuff is going to be going on simultaneously. And at this point, the judgment of what we call the ecclesiastical or the running of the particular religious organization will take prior to the end of the tribulation, right before the Battle of Armageddon. So you're going to see it in different parts of the scripture where it says, you know, after these things, which in verse 1 informs us that the events of chapter 18 will take place after the events of chapter 17 has completed. Then you're going to see I saw another angel, which in verse 1, which tells us that the angel in chapter 18 is not the same angel that we read about in chapter 17. So both the political and religious systems that will carry the name Babylon will be judged. And um the religious system is going to be spoken of mystery because we don't really know what it's going to be called at that time. Time. I say that it's going to be something like a used um or reused Catholic system. But I mean, this is some of the things that John did not write because he was told not to write them. But Babylon will be destroyed by the political powers. That's why you see the ten horns. But the Babylon in chapter 18 is going to be destroyed by the direct act of God. So it the kings of the earth is going to rejoice when the harlot is destroyed, but they are going to weep and cry and be upset when the political Babylon meets her judgment. So it's people that are going to be happy, and there's people going to be upset. Just like it is right now. You just turn on your TV and things that you think was really great, somebody's going to be really upset about it. Things that you think you're upset about, somebody's going to be really happy about it. But with the judgment of Babylon in chapter 18, and I'm trying to rush because I want to get through to this point and then we'll finish it up. Uh maybe next week. So with the judgment of Babylon in chapter 18, this will be the end of almost everything secular in this world: power, wealth, financial gain, pleasures of the world, all of that is going to come to an end. And it's going to be very abrupt. And the judgment of Babylon will come suddenly. For in one hour, it's thy judgment. There's not going to be time to uh to prepare. It's just going to be right there. Politicians are going to weep and mourn. Verses 9 to 10. We covered that. Businessmen shall weep and wail. That's going to be verses 11 through 15. Commerce and travel will fail. Chapter verses 17 and 17 through 19. This is all this is all chapter 18, by the way. This is how fast this is going to collapse. Pleasures and amusement will come to an end in verse 22. Manufacturing is going to come to, and I think that's also covered in verse 22. So this conclusion that a person may arrive. Um that a person may arrive at with this is that the life that is built solely on wealth and pleasure in this world is going to be wasted. That's not to say you can't have anything. We're not saying to engage in socialism. That's that's not the point. But um, and this again is at the end of the tribulation. But all of that's gonna come to waste. So we kind of know have to note what happened uh in the final phase of verse 13, and this could probably be the end of it if I'm out of time. The merchants made merchandise of the souls of men. They bought and sold not only spices, not only wine and wheat, but they also made profit out of slaves and souls of men. So uh please understand this, that knowing this, that we have to recognize that the judgments of God are true. In other words, and and by slaves, I'm not talking about like what we went through in America or what the world was. Some parts of the world are still engaging in physical bondage. But what's gonna happen is this is going to be a more of a religious slavery. That is to say, uh like a religious and and propaganda slavery. Whereas I am going to burning you down with with so much greed that you want to have so much stuff that you literally have to blade your stuff to pay for the stuff that you have. And it's very easy to get into that. You live outside your means, and you and instead of um waiting to uh get stuff you uh sorry, waiting to buy stuff cash, you buy everything on credit, now all of a sudden you're into the 45%, and you you're basically working to pay the bills, you don't even get to enjoy the stuff that you have. Trust me, I have I have been in that. I have been in that for quite a while. And and when I realized this, this is what is very important. So, um, and this would be worse towards the end of the tribulation because remember, a lot of people are not gonna have anything, stuff is gonna be really messed up, and so they're gonna be making merchandise. Like uh, I saw this movie one time, um, and uh this guy named Jude Law was in it, and Fourth Whitaker Fourth Whitaker, yeah, yeah, Fourth Whitaker was in it. Uh, we we're gonna be wrapped this up. And basically, what it what it basically was were um instead of getting a organ transplant, they basically made organ and then you they sold them to you, but there was no way you were ever gonna pay that off. So you would just continue to pay them, and the prices were exorbitant, like the prices were ridiculous. Uh, I can't remember the name of the movie, it was so anyway, so and and basically they they took the they they took the organ and they put it in you. And um if you didn't pay, they would come and repossess the organ. They would literally come and repossess the organ. And they would not, it was just like a car. Like if whatever they caught you, they caught you, and you would die. And they would take the organ, it would clean it off, they would take it back to central processing, and they would stick it back in the thing, and then they would sell it to the next staff. And this is what making souls, making merchandise of the souls of men are. You get to the point that I I get you so burdened down and laden down that you can't even go to church, you can't even pray, you can't even seek God, you can't even read your Bible. Everything is about how I can get that next dollar. And they sell you this thing, they they sell you this dream that the more you were, the richer you are, which is true up to a point, but once you start, um, once you start selling out to that mentality, instead of maintaining a balance of, hey, I'm living for God, and all this stuff is just it is what it is. I don't care if I if it burns up tomorrow, then now your soul is sold to them. Does that make sense? Your soul is sold. You've sold your soul to get this thing instead of keeping your soul uh chaste and as a trophy of God. Alright, so that being said, I'm out of time. I love each and every one of you. We are getting close to the end of it. I would say maybe two or three more sessions because I keep getting sidetracked and stuff. I'm sorry, y'all. But I just want to make sure that everything is that I could everything can be explained as thoroughly as I can explain it, as I can explain it.
