And if you have any questions, feel free to email me, walk with me bible study at gmail, walk with me bible study at gmail. Uh, also, uh, we do have a rule on this podcast uh when we talk about scripture, because I always forget to mention this rule, but when we talk about scripture and we talk uh we give out a scripture or anything like that, feel free, please, to read a verse or two above or a verse or two below, but preferably the whole chapter. Why? Context is key, and the reason why this is important because we don't want to take anything out of context, make anything up on the fly, and somehow end up lost because we're not even following the Bible the way we're supposed to. Alright, I love each and every one of you. So let's get started. We're still in the end time Bible study, and today we are going to cover the the time that is going on during the tribulation. Uh, we we talked about things that are going on on earth, we were talking about all the earthquakes and the antichrist and the beasts and the and the vials and the trumpets and the judgments that are going on down here. Well, what's going on in heaven? Because remember, all the church is gone, the church is pulled out, the rapture has happened, and and the raptures happened, and then there's this seven-year period. So, what exactly is happening? That time is commonly referred to as the marriage supper. Now, um, and what is the marriage supper? The marriage supper, and the importance of this marriage is the culmination of what God really wanted to do all the way from the Garden of Eden. From the foundation of the world, he wanted to be uh have a very close, intimate relationship with his creation, and that creation is mankind, and we kind of messed that up and we fell apart from it. But ever since that moment, God had been reenacting or actually putting into uh action this plan to get us all back together. So, and how we know this is that Paul talks about this a lot, Jesus talks about it a lot. There's a lot of parables what Jesus is talking about the marriage supper of the lamb, the marriage supper of the husband, the marriage supper of the king. But Paul is talking about this church was actually chosen before the foundation of the world, like in Ephesians 1 and 4, according as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world. So, this, even as we are trying to understand what's going on, God has already worked this thing out, and this is where the culmination happens. This is the crowning achievement, this is the the the coup de gras, as it were. Now, this when we figure out that this is what God was going through all the time, it makes everything else make sense. Everything. Um, all the all the events, all the truths, everything, the the revelations, the prophecies, everything, all leads back to this marriage supper that will last for approximately seven years. And so what is a what is a a wedding? A wedding is, as you'll know, as we all know here on earth, it's a time of great celebration. Now, I'm not talking about marriages where the person is forced or pre-arranged, forced marriage, or or something like that, where one half is not really excited. Remember, God is about choice, and he doesn't want someone who to be married to him who doesn't want to be married to him. So we are going to be in a situation where we are actually loving to be with God, and we're loving to want to be in his presence. Just like if you're with your wife and you're or you with a woman is with her husband, you just enjoy their presence when the marriage is good. This just take that and multiply it exponentially. Now, um, we are generally going to be in Revelation chapter 19, 1 through 14 for today's setting. So we're going to take our time, we're going to try to, but I'm going to try to get through this today. Uh, but we're going to make sure we get everything covered. Now, let's look at verse 7. This scene that's kind of laid out in Revelation, which says, Let us be glad and rejoice. It is actually in heaven. You're going to see the 420 elders again, uh, the four living creatures, the heavenly hosts. Everybody's going to be lifting up their voice and singing hallelujah. And a lot of times it is referred to as the hallelujah chorus. Everybody is going to be really singing in one. And that word, hallelujah, just an aside, is the highest praise that man can give God. It's the highest praise of God. And it has a Hebrew meaning to it where it says, Praise ye, Jehovah. This is going to be said 24 times in the Old Testament. Now, here's the thing: it only occurs four times in the New Testament, and those four times is basically going to be shown here in Revelation 19. It's going to be a cry of victory over the enemies of God. It's going to be a cry of um celebration, exaltation. A lot of joy is going to be behind that word. Trust me, once once I can't even fully uh conceptualize the amount of joy that would be said once we have crossed over into that marriage supper because we know that everything that we've gone through up to that point was to get back to a big consummate relationship with our Lord. Now, this scene is of rejoicing, is kind of witnessed after the destruction of the political and ecclesiastical Babylonian church on earth, and the harlot church has been judged. Now, also the saints are also going to be judged as well. And you're going to say, Well, I thought we did all this to avoid judgment. No, no, no. See, the Bible says that everyone has to stand in front of the judgment seat. And this judgment is going to be quite different from the judgment seat, the great white throne judgment. Because if you read the great white throne judgment, it's pretty much just like a uh a one-way stop. Like you pretty much go there to find out why you went to hell or why you're going to the lake of fire. But this judgment is a whole lot different. And this one, you're going to see like um kind of a preview of it in chapter four. This is why a lot of people believe that the rapture happens in somewhere between chapter four and chapter five. And this is where you start seeing the term the marriage of the lamb has come. And when you show up there, you're going to see, you're going to hear some terms, but I don't just want to get these terms out of the way before we get too far into the lesson because I will forget. So, who is the bridegroom? The lamb is the bridegroom. And that's going to be in verse 7. The marriage of the uh lamb is come. So, who is the bride? In order to kind of fully reply to that question, we got to go back to Revelation chapter 2 and chapter 3. The letters to the churches. And then we can go to Revelation 4:1, where the church is caught away. This bride is most certainly the blood-bought, blood-washed, spirit-filled church which bears the name of Jesus in baptism. Remember, that's what we were just talking about. This is where we believe the rapture will happen. Okay. Now, Paul actually talks about it in his letter to the church of Ephesians, and he where he says, The Lord will present himself to a glorious church in Ephesians 5 and 27. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. He mentions this in Ephesians 5 and 32. So who are the guests? Who are who's the ones that are invited to the wedding, but not the bride? Now, these guests are the Old Testament saints and the tribulation saints. This is different from the church saints. And it does not mean that these people are not going to be in heaven. These people will be in heaven. The Old Testament saints and the people that are saved in the revelation, in uh during the tribulation. And John will, John the Baptist will be there, and you'll have Elijah, and you'll have the great patriarchs there, like Abraham and Moses. And because it in Luke chapter 13 and 28, Jesus says, When you shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets of the kingdom of God, these are going to be the guests. And so, and where are where is this going to happen? Undoubtedly, undoubtedly, this marriage is going to take place in heaven, and it's going to be the new Jerusalem before the new Jerusalem is brought down. And I would point to John chapter 14, verse 2, uh, for that. Because remember, when the church is raptured, the rapture takes everyone up to heaven, and then she's going to be by she, I mean the church, gonna be brought to the judgment seat of God. Remember now, I just said even the church has to be judged, even uh Paul said, judgment will begin at the house of God. So, this is a judgment that people, the saints are not going to fear. Now, and once after the church is raptured, the tribulation is on the earth, this is where we the saints that are prayerfully, if God will, when we were re-reptured, this is where we're gonna get our judgment. But this judgment is gonna be different. 1 Corinthians 5 and I'm sorry, 2 Corinthians 5 and 10. But we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. And but here, what we are getting is the are the rewards for the the good things we've done. Um, like when Jesus spoke about the parable of the talent, he he brought the the servants back in. The servants stood before the throne, and the king judge said, Hey, all right, you were faithful in a few things, I'm gonna give you more things to be faithful over. I'm gonna give you, okay, you were good with ten talents, I'm gonna give you ten talents more. You were good with five talents, I'm gonna give you five talents more. You're good with two talents, we're gonna give you two talents more. This is a a judgment called of the people who have been raptured, and this is where you're going to receive your white linen robe, and and this is gonna be Revelation 19 and 7. You're gonna see that, uh, where it talks about uh you're gonna get that white robe, and but how do you get ready for that? Remember, 19 and 7, sorry, his wife has made herself ready. What is that? That's Revelation 19 and 7. This is how we prepare for, and this is I wanted to kind of spend a few minutes here. But this is how we prepare. It's about being faithful, it's about having a worship life, a prayer life, church attendance, Bible study, dedication. The same thing you would do when you find that special someone that you really want to be married to and spend the rest of your life with. You spend a lot of time trying to get to know that person. You dedicate your life to, or at least up to a certain point, of getting to know that person and being involved with that person and knowing what that person likes, and knowing what that person dislikes. And then we're not, and this is why we we use that term intimate, and we're not speaking on the physical sense, we're speaking in a psychological sense, so to speak. And what we're doing here is we're following 2 Corinthians chapter 7, where Paul said, Let us uh cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness and the fear of God. When you meet that person, and this is, and I want to just relate it back to a carnal sense for a moment. When you meet that person that you really want to be with, you kind of get rid of things that you know they don't like, but that you do. Like, for example, if if a lot of times what people will say is, hey, what's your deal breakers? Well, I don't like a person that lies. You take a note of that, and so you say, Well, I'm not gonna lie anymore, because you know you want to be with that person, and when you've decided that you want to be with that person, you you get rid of things in your life, it's the same way of living for God, and so this is the that entire lifetime preparation, and it's not just you know, you you keep you do this thing one time, this is a continual purge, and the same thing goes for when you are getting yourself ready for Christ, you are continually purging the thing that keeps trying to come back, the thing that you always did that you know God doesn't like. You you always are repenting of that sin, you always are or forcing yourself to to live without, putting your flesh under subjection. Alright. So let's talk about the marriage supper itself. Now, this marriage supper is gonna take place after the wedding. Now, and it's gonna be a joyful experience, and it's gonna be, I mean, the Bible doesn't talk a lot about it, uh, but it does say in Revelation 19:9, Blessed are they which are called into the marriage supper of the Lamb. And there's gonna be another supper described in this chapter, and what a contrast is going to be. There's going to be a supper of fearful judgment, where the flesh of the enemies are devoured by the vultures, and then there's this supper where everyone is getting their heavenly or divine rewards, and so who gets the glory in this? Revelation 19 and 7. Let us give glory honor to him, 19 and 7. Now, that this bride is the one who attracts the attention at all weddings, you know that? Um, and just the same way here on earth. The bride is supposed to be the most beautiful thing in the room. Even the groom, even the groom relents his position as, you know, I yeah, he's gonna be the head of the house, but for that day, that bride is going to shine. That bride is the most beautiful thing in the party, that bride is the most wonderful thing, and at that time, the church, the bride, the church will be that bride, and we'll be the shining, crowning achievement of God. Because we're gonna be different from the angels, and we all like to look at angels and wonder how beautiful they are or how fearful they are. But listen, angels already know, we didn't know because we had faith, and that is what's going to put us above the angels in the hierarchy of God. This is why uh God talks about the church being the bride instead of angels, and this is what's going to give us the idea of us having a coming uh life or eternal life, being forever intimate with Christ, and knowing that we can actually talk to him and be with him, and and understanding just how wonderful being in heaven is. But all this is gonna happen during that uh seven-year period, and there's gonna be a lot of pageantry and and you know, and such is and we're talking about something that's gonna start for seven years, but then carry on into eternity. If you look at um Ephesians 1 and 20, the bride was chosen to be the to the praise of his glory, and again, the bride is gonna be arrayed the most beautiful thing you and I will ever see in our lives, and I mean where when we consider eternal life or or carnal life, it's just gonna be the absolute most beautiful thing you will ever see, and that will be us. That will be us, and it's hard to understand just how um how beautiful God will make us because we chose him, we chose him, and that love that we have for Jesus now, that love that we have for God now is going to uh spill over into how we worship him and how we say hallelujah to him. And it's it is while everything is going on, everything we won't even see most of it. We we the Bible says that all tears to be wiped away. We won't even know most of it's going on. This is why it is very, very, very, very, very important that we try to get as many people now to get the Holy Ghost because we want them to be in the marriage supper with us rather than going through what people are gonna be going through down here during that seven-year period. Yeah, the first three and a half years might be okay, but it's gonna be weird. Weird things are gonna be happening, but then this last three and a half years is just gonna be catastrophic. And we and if you love someone, you love someone, um, you love your your family member or friend or something like that, it just seems like it would be it'll behoove all of us to just kind of reach out and and let them know, hey man, you're being invited to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. And and I get it, I get it. We may not get to fully understand what that means, especially um, especially if we're still thinking carnally, we'd have we haven't been filled with the Spirit of Christ. So we're not really we're not able to really comprehend that. This is something that's learned. So this is why it's very important now, and I I really wanted to point this out. First things first is we have to repent of our sin. We have to, we have to get that filtiness off of us. We have to get baptized in Jesus' name. We have why the Bible says it. There is no accept the Lord as your personal savior. I get it. This is some things we are taught, but the Bible does not say this. Accepting the Lord and praying the sinner's prayer and and repeat after me, none of that's in there. You have to be born of the water and the born of the spirit in order for this to happen. How does that happen? You repent, get baptized in Jesus' name, and you get the Holy Ghost. And this is a promise. Some people, and I'm just gonna say this, we'll wrap it up. That some people they um they they feel as if uh getting the Holy Ghost is a hard thing. Um, and for some people it takes a little bit of time, a little bit more time than others, mainly because they have not let something go. And I'll say this has happened in my case. I had to let something go. Um, and for me, it was anger. So, and it's hard. Uh, and and some people it's some people it's other things. And here's the thing um there are sometimes people just get the Holy Ghost and then gotta work on building them from the inside out. It's it's a thing, it's it's a process. Being saved is not a one time thing, and I'm not sure how I ended up here, but being saved. Just not a one-time thing. You don't come to church and say, hey, I'm saved, and and then boom. You're just there's no once saved, always saved. It's being saved is a destination. And the wedding is the destination. Just like when you're courting someone in the world. If you're courting that person that you think is going to be the one, you're going to move a whole lot different than if you're courting someone who is just a casual thing. You're going to have a whole different mindset. You're going to have a whole different movement based on what that goal is. And if your goal is to spend eternity in heaven, you're not going to treat it casually. You shouldn't treat it casually because what's going to end up happening is you're not going to get there. You know, you're not going to make the cut. Just like you're courting him, he's courting you. You're courting her, she's courting you. So, and and I have to say it this way because it's the only way I could really explain it. But here's the thing. Here's the thing. The invitation is for you, the promise is for you. For all who, your you, your children, everybody, even those who are far off, even as many as God shall call. Alright?
